The Wish:
My Daughter Amber is 6 and her wish is to get a Trampoline for our back garden she has got leukemia she is currently under
going chemo every week at Manchester children's hospital Thank you Sam x
How the wish was granted:
The day this wish was received Lynn's friend emailed to ask if there was a wish he could help with. When Lynn mentioned the
wish for Amber he arranged for a Trampoline to be sent to Amber. Lynn's friend has been an amazing support to both Lynn &
Pink Wishes and Lynn would like to say yet another BIG THANK YOU!
The Wish:
Our little girl Maisie was diagnosed with Leukaemia 12 months ago just before her 2nd birthday, the cancer was so advanced she
held 94% cancer cells in her blood. We have come such a long way this past year and Maisie still has 15 months of chemotherapy
to complete. Some of her treatment causes night terrors and frequent waking and we would therefore like to ask for Maisie's wish
to be a new bed. She is currently in a small toddler bed and we feel a bigger more cosy bed would make night time a nicer
experience. And there would be plenty of room inside for mum or dad to climb in and comfort her!
How the wish was granted:
We asked Silentnight Beds if
they would like to grant this wish for Maisie. Pink Wishes were delighted when
Silentnight agreed to
help. They offered Maisie The Toadstool
Sleepover Bed - which was the exact bed that Maisie's
parents had been looking at.

This is what Maisie's Mum Lisa had to say:
I am honestly overwhelmed. The bed is absolutely beautiful and really will be of a huge benefit with the sleepover bed too....
no more trying to fit in a toddler bed! We had looked at it for that reason but having had to give up my career to care for Maisie we
simply could never have afforded it. I cant thank you and Silentnight enough. We will keep in touch and hopefully send you a photo
when it arrives.
The Wish:
My daughter has just turned 3 and was diagnosed with leukemia aged 2.5 years old. She loves Peppa Pig and would love anything
to do with Peppa and especially to meet her.
How the wish was granted:
Pink Wishes would like to say a "Big Thank You" to Howard Salinger from Entertainment 4 Media and John Manning from Fiery Angel
who have arranged for tickets to the Peppa Pig tour for Mia and her family, and have also arranged back stage passes so Mia can
meet Peppa and the other characters. x
The Wish:
Lisa Connell is 31 and she has an inoperable brain tumour, Lisa attended our wellbeing day in memory of Jade Goody. On the day
we asked all the
ladies to tell us their wish - Lisa's wish was to have permanent make up on
her eyebrows (post cancer treatment).
How the wish was granted:
We Contacted Jade's friend celebrity permanent make up artist Nilem Patel who was happy to offer her services for free. Pink Wishes

My sister died aged 20
of a rare form of skin cancer. This was a shock to us all, as only
earlier my father he took his life after a mental
breakdown at
just aged 43 :(.He left my mother caring for 5 children the youngest being 2 at the time.
I am hoping that
Pink Wishes
can organise something special for my Mum Candy. Her biggest wish I know is to travel on The
Orient Express. My mum has for over
10 years now worked at the hospice where my sister died and she rarely gets anytime to herself.
If this is not
possible could Pink
Wishes send her my late sisters fav flowers which are Lilies?

The Wish:
My wish is to have a brand new Christmas tree this year. I know its summer and yes Christmas is a long way off but its my favourite
time of year and with a new grandchild on
the way it would be wonderful to have a special new sparkly

someone's wish click here THE OFFER: I was reading through the wishes and would like to offer the lady who would like a new
Christmas tree one of my spare artificial ones. I bought a couple from Argos in the sales and haven't opened them as yet. I have included
the catalogue photos but am not sure what they are like in reality (according to reviews they aren't always as expected). I don't know what
the procedure is for this type of thing. They are large trees so may not be suitable, and obviously they are quite heavy and bulky, but I'm
happy to arrange and pay for courier delivery, whether that be to you or direct.
The Wish:
My wish request is for
my 17 year old daughter. She was attacked in February by a gang of youths in
an unprovoked attack at a bus
stop. She was dragged
into a main road and repeatedly kicked and punched in the body and head.
Much of her hair was pulled out.
She was hospitalized
with the injuries and deeply traumatized. Her head was a mass of weeping
wounds. The youths told the police
they were bored and
wanted to film an attack on their phones. She still suffers from back pain,
nightmares and is scared to go out,
especially alone. My
wish is for her to be able to see a London West end musical as this has been
a long held dream.
How the wish was granted:
Pink Wishes were delighted to be able to grant this wish,
we are sending Theatre Tickets and we have also arranged an
overnight stay at the Millennium Hotel Mayfair London. We

Hall have offered a room for one night including dinner and wine. I am delighted to be able to grant Carole's wish I have not been too
well lately and have visited A&E on many occasions the staff are amazing they do such a great job Lynn x

My lovely husband wished for something nice for me as I have not been too well. He was deciding what to get me when avery "Special"
person who we have not known long came to the door with the most beautiful hand tied Pink Flowers. This person is amazing in a
short space of time he has become an amazing friend not just to Steve and I but also to Pink Wishes. Steve and I are very proud to

The Wish:
My wish is not to win the lotto, or have a nice car,
My one wish in the world is to be able to have a headstone for our Daughter.
Our baby daughter
passed away in October 2007, but we have been
unable to afford to buy her a headstone for her little grave.
Even
for a little baby headstones they want £450 for an 18ich heart shape stone.
We would love to have a white heart shape so
that our little girl stands out, just like she dose in
our hearts. Our other daughters love to go and sit and talk to her and take
her little
teddies and flowers, A headstone for Lola-Jayne would
just make our year the best year ever. I do hope someone would be able
to grant my wish

wish she told her bosses Martin & Ann Jackson.Martin & Ann

Lola. This really is one of the most moving wishes we have ever had.

My
daughter Abbie is 13 and has severe special
needs and is in a wheelchair. She has Angelman syndrome and is the happiest
child I know, she is always
smiling and up for a cuddle. She has a bad scoliosis and we are trying to
do as much as possible through
exercises to keep her walking for as long as possible. It is her one
independence and although she can only walk a little indoors we
would all
love her to be able to keep walking for as long as possible.
My wish would be to get a special bike for her so we may take
her out with us on her bike which will not only give her exercises but
will include her for the first time in a family activity
that we all love

WOW....what an amazing day the children
and I have had today. Meeting the X Factor Finalists was so fantastic and
the show was
just brilliant. Hollie,
Connor and Ellie had an "awesome" time and told me it was one of the best

The Wish:
I'd like to make a wish for my parents and to give them a
lovely surprise. My wish is to have a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and some
chocolates sent to my fantastic Mam and Dad
who have been through an awful lot in the past year. Tragically,
mymy brother Daniel
died last year in an awful accident. He was just
18 years old. Despite my parents own heartache, they have managed to help
myself,
my sister and my younger brother (16) and their 2
son-in-law's through this, and both have been a tower of support for myself

husband since the birth of my son in August 2009.
I don't know where I would be without these 2 very special people and I

I wish for my daughter Olivia
who is 9 to have a new bed. Her broken bed that she has
at the moment, was
given to
us and has biro written all over it, several of the slats
are broken and is very
uncomfortable. More than anything she would love a girly pretty bed. I
keep telling her that I am saving up, but as single mum to her and
her sister Charlotte I just never have enough
money after I have paid all the bills. She is
such a dear little girl always thinking of other
people and friends. For Christmas she has only asked for one thing
and in this day and age I think this is really unusual.

said that they would like to grant the wish. They asked Claire &
Olivia to
pick a bed and duvet set and they were delivered to them
yesterday x

My wish would be for me and my family to be able to
go to see John Mayer play this live (and maybe even dedicated to mum) as I
think it would be a wonderful treat and an
incredibly special experience for all of us. He and his music have played a huge part in
helping us cope with what
has been an incredibly painful journey. This is
probably an impossible wish to grant but if you know anyone
that could help make this happen I would be
absolutely blown away. My family are incredibly special and deserve a
treat - particularly
my father who is truly amazing and cared for mum
unconditionally and whole heartedly throughout her illness and the most
difficult of

the moment after about 5 mins of walking, my legs go wobbly and
it takes great concentration to get where I want, I do
have an old fashion stick, but it doesn’t fold up and it So isn’t cool at

nice walking stick would make things a bit easier."

Nikki's friend Julie posted a wish on our wishes page for
Nikki who has had a 7 year battle with breast cancer and many other

How the wish was granted:
We contacted our friends
at Harrods who arranged for Nikki, Jake and Jason to visit Santa in his
Grotto at the Harrods store.
They also arranged dinner
for them all at Mo's diner Harrods. The Baglioni Hotel Group were
delighted to offer a Suite at
their Kensington Hotel.

like VIP's they had a

How the wish was granted:
Pink Wishes contacted Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to see if he
would like to grant the wish. Ole was a complete gentleman and offered
immediately to meet Julie and her make her wish come
true.
Here is Julie's husband Johns memory of the day.
We met Ole at
the Man Utd training ground,
and when he came down the stairs he was waving at us as if he had known us
for many
years. He greeted
Julie with a massive kiss and cuddle, we
then sat and had a chat with him.
Ole took us
around the training areas,
and introduced us to
the younger players, and they were
also very polite.
We
had a very personal chat with
Ole towards the end of
the tour, and
when we left Julie was grinning from ear to ear.

was a true gentleman and had plenty of time for JulieIT WAS A

My name is Angela Gregg and in February 2009 was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour. I am a single mum with three children aged

How the wish was granted:
As Angela and her children are all X Factor fans, we contacted The X Factor Team. They have offered Angela and her children tickets
to The X Factor Tour, and have also arranged for them to meet the finalists. As soon as we have the pictures we will put them on the
website. We would like to thank Sara and all The X Factor Team for once again helping us grant a wish x
The Wish:
Nicky (43yrs) has had a 7 year battle with breast cancer and many other complications. With every new operation, complication and
all the set backs she has endured, Nicky has managed to stay positive and has the personality to care and be genuinely interested in
other people. It amazes me that she is so caring about others when she has so many problems to cope with her own health.
Nicky is a devoted mother to her 9 year old son Jake, and loving wife to Jason, her husband. Nicky is at her happiest with her family
around her, and I am wishing for a Special Day for Nikki and her family. I have my fingers and toes crossed hoping you may be able
to brighten her day in some way!
How the wish was granted
We contacted Harrods, an they have offered Nikki and her family to Harrods on December 19th and meet
Santa in his Grotto, they have also invited them to dinner afterwards at Mo's dinner. We are now negotiating with
London Hotels for a 5* overnight stay. As soon as we have the pictures we will put them on the website.

The Wish:
At our last wellbeing day for people affected by cancer I asked each of the ladies for a wish. Charmain wished for a Holiday.
How the wish was granted:
One of our members Tim Hall runs painting Holidays in Cornwall. Tim offered me a free five day painting holiday. I asked if I could
offer the Holiday to one of our Members. I explained that Charmain had wished for a Holiday at the wellbeing day. I also explained
that Charmain had just taken up painting at a local art group and was really enjoying it. Tim has offered Charmain will be going on a
five day painting holiday in Cornwall in the Spring.
The Wish:
My wish is for my daughter Rachel, my son in Law Geoffrey and my Grandson Daniel to have a beautiful Xmas food hamper, please

Geoffrey is very unwell and Lynn, and Charmain (who has been helping Lynn grant wishes) really wanted to be able to grant this wish,

How the wish was granted:
Claire's Mum has not been well, so we contacted Harrods to see if they could grant this wish. I am happy to say that Mr. M AL Fayed
granted this wish. Claire and her Mum Joy had Afternoon Tea on 5/11/09 in The Georgian Room, at Harrods. Not only did
Mr. Al Fayed invite Claire and her Mum Joy for Afternoon Tea, but he also came and met them he gave Claire some perfume, and
Joy a goodie bag full of beautiful Harrods gifts, including a silk and crystal pashmina.

The Wish:
My daughter got to bring Boris home (school teddy for good behavior) this is a huge responsibility for them at 4 years old my daughter
absolutely loved and enjoyed having Boris here but something was bugging me Boris was quite small and none of this clothes fitted
him which frustrated my daughter, Boris is also quite tatty So I would love for you to make my wish come true for a new class teddy
with a mixture of clothes (Boris came with a knitted cardigan to big, pajamas a dress and hair bands) Thank you x
How the wish was granted:
Lynn from Pink Wishes did a wellbeing seminar for staff members at Mondial Assurance. Mondial were very grateful and asked if
there was anything they could do for Pink Wishes. Lynn asked them to grant Cheryl's wish and by a new Bear with outfit for the School.
Mondial ordered a Bear and outfit from the Build a Bear website, and it was delivered to the school x

I wish that I could get some sunglasses and other fashion accessories for people with learning disabilities to review as part of a new
free magazine project . Ck Pose ( we are a registered charity ) aims to change the public attitude to people with disabilities and
encourage self worth and confidence. All our models have a learning disability and they are a great bunch. They are working so hard

When Pink Wishes received this wish we contacted The Carat Shop, who make lovely hand made Jewellery, they agreed to send
some Jewellery to Collette for the shoot. One of our Members Louise Cochran Mason, also agreed to send two silver plated Bracelets,

stylist after she comes out of Hospital for reconstructive surgery.
I know it is something that she really wants, and I would love this wish to come true, because she has been through a very difficult time.

I wish my sister could have a huge bouquet of flowers for herself and
some Yorkshire teabags for her husband, (he does like a good cup
of tea and that is his favourite), he has been suffering with prostate cancer for 2 years now, we know its terminal and sometimes my sister
gets a bit down coping with everything. I would love to see her more often but I live 100 miles away and my partner has recently been made redundant so cant afford to see her more often.

I went to the hospital yesterday with my Aunt who has terminal Cancer
(Lung, diagnosed a year ago). Up until 3 months ago she had
been symptom free, but we were told yesterday that the Cancer has spread to her other lung. On the way back from the hospital she
told me that she would love to go to Bournemouth one last time, for a couple of days and be able to look out at the sea, I would be
really, really grateful if her wish could be granted x

It's coming up to the 2 year anniversary or my Mum passing away this
month. I wish that everyone who helped us knew
how much it meant to us, The Macmillan nurses and consultants, the district nurses that came in every day sometimes
2 or 3 times a day and the wonderful Wisdom Hospice in Rochester who made such a difference and made her so happy.
We were so shattered at the time and we did try to convey how much it meant to us what you all did but I often wonder if
you all realise what angels you really are. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
