Wellbeing Days:
Pink Wishes organise wellbeing days for people affected by cancer. These days allow people who are suffering from or recovering from cancer to experience a host of complementary therapies designed to promote healing, health and wellbeing. They also give the ladies a chance to discuss their journey with cancer with each other allowing them to support each other -these days are very special x We will be holding another wellbeing day in February 2011 full details coming soon.

We held a Wellbeing/Pamper Day with Jade Goody's friends in Memory of Jade at Maysland Holistic Retreat Great Easton Essex. The day had outgrown Carly's salon, and therefore John & Linda Claydon invited us all down to their beautiful retreat in Essex. The retreat, surrounded by animals and countryside, provided a magnificent setting for the day. We had an amazing day at Maysland John offered the ladies Hypnotherapy, and Linda and her sister Melanie gave Reiki Healing. Carly and Ciara Jades Goody's close friends gave various beauty treatments, and everyone was made to feel very special x

09Pink Wishes organised a Wellbeing Day for anyone affected by cancer at
Maysland Holistic Retreat, Essex.
The retreat, surrounded by animals and countryside, provided a magnificent
setting for the day. The therapist's
Linda, Melanie and John were all warm, friendly and extremely welcoming,
instantly putting everyone at ease.
Cancer suffererJanet Lavin, 50, currently undergoing treatment for Breast
Cancer had reflexology, hypnotherapy, back massage and went in the steam
shower. Janet said “Its been lovely, so relaxing, surrounded by animals and
countryside the retreat has a very warm, welcoming atmosphere”. Janet also
said “the reflexology was not only relaxing, it was informative as well, the
therapist told me that my kidneys needed water, which was amazing as I
hadn’t had any to drink that day”. When Janet finishes her treatment in
April, her dream is to meet Donny Osmond!
