HOLLYWOOD STARS SUPPORT BRIT YOUTUBE WRITER!
Budding British
children's writer,
Hayley Nolan, has uploaded videos of herself
narrating her first book on YouTube and gained some very
special Hollywood fans!
Movie star Kate
Winslet is one of the first to have
an exclusive hand made copy of the book for her children
Mia and Joe - and it hasn't even got a publisher yet!
25 year old Hayley has
also received praise from
Oscar winning Disney lyricist
Robert B Sherman - who wrote the
classics for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Mary Poppins and
Jungle Book - saying "She's got a wonderful style and I
predict a long life of delightful stories!"
The Disney legend, who won an Oscar for
Mary Poppins' Chim-Chimerny, and now lives in
London, has become something of a mentor to Hayley,
along with his Hollywood screenwriter son, Robbie
Sherman!
Hayley, who is also a Royal
Court Theatre Young Writer and has just finished part-time
studies in Creative Writing at Cambridge University, has
written 6 books in the Kids of Class 3B series and
hopes to catch the eye of a publisher. She says:
"I'm fed up with celebrities
putting their name to ghost written books! If it's glitz and
glamour the publishing world wants I can give them that along
with real talent!"
