George Sampson

We sent our roving reporter Tom Beckwith off to London to Interview George after his

success on Britain's Got Talent. Here's what George  had to say.

When did you first take an interest and get involved in break dancing?

I first took an interest when I was 6 and watched a show at school and liked it then I just stayed strong and continued it for years.

Did you have private tuition?

No it was all self taught by watching other people, but now I go to classes, run my own class and am hoping to take my team to America.

Are you looking forward to the tour?

O yes! the tour's the most important bit! I can't wait to go and I think the reception in London will be incredible, but I can't wait to get back to Manchester in front of my home crowd.

Who was your idol and inspiration?

A guy called Swanny was my first ever break dancing teacher. He was more of a friend but died 2 years ago, but he told me to always stay strong and I dedicate the win to him.

Where do you see yourself this time next year?

Well that's the question I want to know the answer to! I would like to see myself in music videos performing for people world wide. Just making it somewhere really.

Do you believe that now you have won Britain's Got Talent you have inspired people to take up break dancing?

I hope I inspire people because it's a really fun thing to do. If you like something you should never hesitate to start and learn.

Finally, the important question, Man City or Man Utd

Man U!
